Accounting Manager – Remote | GAAP, QuickBooks, Month-End Close & Payroll Position Type: Full-Time, Remote Working Hours: U.S. Business Hours About the Role At the employer, one of our clients is hiring an experienced Accounting Manager to own financial reporting, month-end close, payroll, and core accounting operations across complex client accounts. This is a hands-on accounting role — not basic bookkeeping or data entry. You’ll manage accrual-based accounting, multi-entity financials, payroll, sales tax compliance, AP/AR, and reporting while ensuring financial records remain accurate, organized, and audit-ready. If you have strong GAAP accounting, QuickBooks, Excel, payroll, and multi-entity accounting experience , this role is a strong fit. What You’ll Own Month-End Close & Financial Reporting • Execute accurate and timely month-end close processes • Prepare and maintain financial reports and supporting schedules • Maintain clean, structured, and audit-ready workpapers • Ensure financial reporting follows GAAP/accrual accounting standards • Identify and resolve reporting discrepancies General Ledger, AP & AR • Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities and locations • Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Manage day-to-day accounting activities • Review account activity and resolve discrepancies • Ensure accounting records…
