Accounting Manager – GAAP, QuickBooks, Payroll & Month-End Close | Remote Position Type: Full-Time, Remote Working Hours: U.S. Business Hours About the Role At the employer, one of our clients is hiring an Accounting Manager to own month-end close, financial reporting, payroll, compliance, and core accounting operations across complex, multi-entity environments. This is a hands-on role for an experienced accounting professional who understands accrual accounting and GAAP , thrives on accuracy, and can confidently manage financial workflows with minimal oversight. What You’ll Own Month-End Close & Financial Reporting • Execute accurate and timely month-end close • Prepare financial statements and management reports • Maintain clean, structured, audit-ready workpapers • Ensure financial reporting follows GAAP • Identify and resolve discrepancies proactively Core Accounting Operations • Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities • Manage reconciliations and day-to-day accounting activities • Ensure accounting records remain complete, accurate, and organized Payroll & Employee Setup • Process payroll using Gusto, ADP, Paylocity , or similar platforms • Manage employee setup and onboarding within payroll systems • Maintain accurate payroll documentation • Support compliance with U.S. payroll…
